Reflect someone's promise, not their past.
When someone is in your presence, let them see their importance,
not yours.
Those who have given up their dreams will try and discourage yours.
The question is not "will you leave," for at some time you most surely will, the question is "will you come back."
As we grow, we often come to uncomfortable places, and we feel that a change is needed. But often, what we really need is to deepen where we are; to find peace in our current circumstance; to heal. By making changes in our outer world, we may miss the opportunity for healing and growth.
Pain pushes until vision pulls. When I make a change, I want it to be towards a vision, not away from pain.
To get what you want, start by saying No to what you don't want.
